This past Friday there was an Etsy update (as promised). And as I said, I have come up with something that I have yet to find anyplace else online. So I am happy to announce that Pro-Portional Designs of Om Nom Nom Studios is the home and creator of the foodie baby bib (maybe I'll have a cuter way to put it in the future.) There are now two new sections in the store, children and http://www.etsy.com/shop/ProPortional?section_id=6905791.
The other day I was out visiting some family and saw the pumpkin water tower in Circleville, Ohio (that I am sure i have seen before but never really thought about.)
While I was working on these pictures I wondered about other water towers similar to this and came across:
The watermelon water tower in Texas
The Peach water tower in Alabama
Not quite food but still delightful is the coffee pot water tower in California
There are others but I thought it was amusing.

Gerg
It's come to my attention that one of the items I will be offering is being made by someone else despite my secrecy. I'm a bit bummed but know that original ideas can be few and far between. As my father told me when I was a little kid - "anything you can think of - someone else has already thought." This sort of thing has kind of happened before and sadly it will happen again.
The main item I plan to offer is still safe but I may be moving up the release date from April 1st to some time in the next week. Stay tuned on that if you're as excited as I am.

What's Goin On.
It's been a minute since I last blogged. Apologies for that. Since the last post I have been one of the featured artists in the newest issue of the webzine, Cupcake Magazine. References to me directly are on the main page (my name is Tara) and inside the magazine on pages 12, 19, 21, 122, 123, and 203. This would be the second "big thing poppin'" I mentioned earlier.
Crazy things have apparently been going on here in Columbus. Here is something I found particularly upsetting. There has been a sixty-eight year old man putting his keys in his hand, making a fist, and punching seven and eight year old children in the face. Worse yet, he's been (proudly) at it for around nine months now.
Less crazy but still hectic has been my working nearly non-stop on some new things for spring. I'm excited and I hope you are too. What I have in store as my main items I have yet to see someplace else.
I did take a break today for fresh ink. My cupcake tattoo was a little lonely. Tonight I made a few additions. There is actually more to come on this. But here is where the tattoo stands for now.
To try to load you down less I'm only putting up one picture of it here (from the front). All of the pictures can be found on Om Nom Nom Studios Flickr page.
Thanks again so much to Quin of Skull & Rose Gallery on Pacemont in Columbus, Ohio. See you soon for the next session.
