It's that time again! Grocery day. A day that these days, for me, is packed with exercise.
This morning when I spoke to my mother on the phone she made a comment about Ohio State fans. Nothing derogatory of course, but she remarked on how much tOSU stuff the tOSU fans wear even back home.
While out looking for manager deals in the meat section I noticed this.
Even the chicken here is pro-buckeyes. I have to admit, this is the first time I have noticed chicken with such a message.
I decided at that point to take pictures of other instances of this in the store but the plan was not to go too out of my way to hunt it down. Items I photographed for her needed to pretty much be a tOSU item I just happened to pass.
I came up with a shockingly small amount of items. For those of you who don't live here or who have not gone grocery shopping in tOSU heartland I'll need you to imagine everything from Buckeye M&M's to Buckeye Tabasco sauce readily available.
These are what I came up with without going far out of my way to hunt down more items to photograph.
In the end it was a relatively successful day of grocery shopping for both myself and the dog who made it very clear she wanted to go errand running with me.
Ham.

So. Much. Fur.
It's that time of year again - flowers are in bloom and dogs are shedding. Perfect, regrettably, is one of those blooming shedding dogs and somehow this year it seems worse than ever.
Vacuuming doesn't do the trick. I have to use our [borrowed] hand-held wet/dry vac to pull up the hair and then vacuum.
To all you other dog owners out there with fur working its way as deep and it can into your carpets the Om Nom Nom household feels your pain.

Day After Christmas
I have somewhat briefly mentioned before my Saint Weiler, Perfect. Tonight while editing pictures for tonight's upload of new goodies I heard this strange creaking noise in the room with me. My husband doesn't seem to like to keep his clothes in a dresser so he keeps them in a heap inside a large box I have from Korea. Lately, he just constantly leaves it open. Sometimes I close it, sometimes I don't. Apparently this hasn't gone unnoticed.
And this would be her once I called my husband in the room to see.
I realize how silly it is to go out to a store in search of ANYTHING the day after Christmas - but I did. I decided I wanted to go out and play - and what I wanted to play with was a shake weight. We checked Sports Authority and after much searching we were told that they were getting some in but did not have any. And none were to be found at Wal Mart (also I couldn't find a copy of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs at Wal Mart either - poo!)
