In an attempt to be more accessible and sociable Om Nom Nom Studios now also has Xanga and in the near future will also have Live Journal. There are no posts just yet on the Xanga account as of yet.
New items have been pre-loaded to Etsy. They are awaiting photos and some finishing touches (i.e. a LOT of zippers.) There are some entirely new sorts of items that will be offered on the next upload. For Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace followers you are aware the other day my husbands grandma invited me over for leftover party food and cookie making (during which time crafts always come up in some form or another).
We had a brown sugar mishap that involved giant unbreakable chunks. Grandma put them into the mixer anyway so there was a momentary cookie dough/brown sugar hail storm. Which made my dogs particularly happy. Here is Minnie with little bits of dough still stuck her her.
I doubt she really noticed though.
Amongst lessons learned was a new, somewhat important one. Do not leave wine unattended when grandma is around. No, she didn't drink it. Because she has no wine glasses I had mine in a coffee mug on the table. When I returned from shaving some newly felted bags I found this:
This is a cookie dough encrusted spoon - in. my. wine. She had no idea she'd even done it until I started snapping pictures of the cup.
I married into a crafty family. The range of abilities is astounding. We have crocheters, seamstresses, general fine artists, and quilters. Grandma seems to be the head quilter of the family. In fact, her bedroom is further proof how entrenched in crafting she is.
And those are just some of the people from the family I married into - my immediate family also has a lot of artistic inklings as well.

Today when I went out get zippers for the new bags I saw some "findings" (that's what one of these bags calls em' anyway) that lead to some new merchandise ideas. So in one of the next few uploads to the store there will be barrets, key chains, and pins. The success of these items will determine if and how many more of these will be offered.
I am hoping that these smaller ticket items will make Pro-Portional Designs more readily available to people like me who on a regular basis can't so much as put five dollars into their gas tank.
More items were also (what I liked to call) "pre-listed" today. Currently the plan is to list all finished items this Sunday, December 6th, 2009 at midnight. I do not know yet how many items will be listed that day - and if plans to list at that time change I will make that known.
The English Mastiff listing I mentioned yesterday is now back up so you can see a few of my family's adorable pups for sale.

Who Says You Can't Go Home Again?
For anyone who was following the Om Nom Nom Studios Blog over at Wordpress.com you are already somewhat aware of my desire to cuten up my blog. I chose Wordpress because I had seen so many BEAUTIFUL blogs that somewhere on the page said "powered by Wordpress." My first blog (and only other one before the launch of my company) I ran was on Blogger and when I found out Blogger was "cuten" friendly I came back home.
Yesterday I started making multiples of items instead of my current choice to make only one of an item. I am doing so because I am looking into participating in a craft show. There's not much more to say about this except that the ones I am looking into are in the state of Virginia.
Today since I had cause to visit my mother-in-law anyway I used her (perfect for felting) washing machine to felt the bags I made yesterday. And. I. Am. THRILLED.
Despite what you may have seen in my store I do have more items that will be sold here at ONNHQ (Om Nom Nom Head Quarters - I know fancy right!?) I still need to get more zippers and some items to add to embellishments before I can move forward with them.
I meant to bring the camera with me to take pictures to keep you visually aroused but at the last second I forgot it. Which is a shame because my family currently has adorable Pekingese and English Mastiff puppies for sale. I was going to include the link to the puppies so you could see them but to our chagrin our ad on Kijiji has been temporarily taken down. I will post the link once the ad is back up so no one has to miss out on the cute overload.
